At West Valley Wellness & Rehabilitation we offer one-on-one private training, group sessions, sports performance training and fitness boot camps all tailored to meet your individual needs.  We strive to help our clients reach their performance and weight loss goals in a fun, comfortable and judgement free environment.   Unlike most gyms in the valley, all of our training sessions are one full hour of instruction and our programs are doctor supervised to help prevent injury and guide clients with nutritional and metabolic barriers to prevent people from achieving their goals.

Tanner Battikha, BS, CSCS, CPT, CCA

Tanner was born and raised in San Diego, California. After graduating from High School, Tanner moved to Albuquerque, to study Exercise Science at the University of New Mexico. While at UNM, Tanner competed as a scholarship athlete on the NCAA Division I Track & Field team. During this time, Tanner was able to capture 4 Mountain West Conference titles in the Long Jump and competed against some of the most elite jumpers from around the world. While training as a student-athlete, Tanner realized he wanted to pursue a career in the fitness and coaching industry so he could help others achieve their health, fitness, and sport performance goals. In May of 2020, Tanner completed his education and graduated from the University of New Mexico with his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science.

Tanner began his fitness career when he earned his credential as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from the American Council on Exercise in 2019. Later that year, Tanner began working at the YMCA of Central New Mexico as a Personal Trainer. During his time at the YMCA, Tanner worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels. Tanner designed and implemented workout regimens to help clients improve their body composition, strength, cardiovascular fitness, athletic performance, and overall health.

After graduating from college, Tanner moved to Arizona seeking new career opportunities. Shortly after arriving in Arizona, Tanner began working with the doctors at West Valley Wellness & Rehab as a Chiropractic Assistant & Personal Trainer. Since graduation, Tanner has continued to expanded his education by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Chiropractic Assistant (CCA). During his time working at West Valley Wellness & Rehab, Tanner has helped several patients improve                                                                      their physical and mental well-being through physical rehabilitation, personal training and group exercise classes.
