The Kinesio-Taping method was developed by a Japaneese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979.  This treatment method was desiged to help facilitate the body's natural healing process by raising the skin off the soft tissues to allow better circulation and lymphatic drainage. Additionally, Kinesio-Tape stimulates inhibited or injured muscles to help them function better  without restricting the body's normal range of motion.

Kinesio-Tape has been used successfully to treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular and athletic injuries. The tape has been shown to

  • Reduce Pain
  • Improve Circulation
  • Decrease Swelling
  • Enhance Athletic Performance
  • Re-Educate Impaired Muscular Function
